Looking for the best St Louis breakfast places? You have come to the right place!
Working real estate in St. Louis, breakfast is often a great time to conduct meetings or just get away from the office and get some work finished.
Breakfast is arguably my favorite meal of the day. Specifically, breakfast during the week with a cold ice tea (no coffee for this guy)!
Below is my “best breakfast in St Louis” list!
Top 11 St. Louis Breakfast Places
The Barn is one of the most unique places for breakfast in St. Louis. Situated in the historic Sappington House property, The Barn has a charming feel with a great rustic and historic view of the Sappington House courtyard and property. They are open early which we love and absolutely hands down have the best homemade quiche in St. Louis. You can also enjoy a full cocktail and lunch menu.
You can find them in Crestwood at 1015 Sappington Rd.
Half and Half
Half and Half is a great St Louis breakfast option if your near Clayton or Webster, their two locations. They open at 7:00 AM Tuesday through Friday which makes it perfect for getting some work done with a nice hot meal and an ice tea!
My favorite item on the menu is the biscuits and gravy that comes with 2 eggs (over medium are the best).
You can find the Clayton location at 8135 Maryland Ave and the Webster Groves location at 220 W. Lockwood.
First Watch is an obvious St. Louis breakfast choice, they are extremely fast and the food is consistently great. I’m partial to the Traditional with a side of fruit and an ice tea! Opening at 7:00 everyday makes them a convenient choice for client meetings or a nice breakfast date with your bestie!
They have 10 St Louis breakfast locations!
- Town & Country
- Des Peres
- Creve Coeur
- Webster Groves
Benton Park Cafe
Benton Park Café is definitely one of my favorite St Louis breakfast spots. I found them on the top breakfast places in St. Louis on the River Front Times. They didn’t disappoint.
I love their french toast but you can’t go wrong with the The California either since it’s has some famous St. Louis provel!
They are located at 2901 Salena in Benton Park.
Oh man, The Shack rocks! I’m not sure what other St Louis Breakfast place has a bar that can compete along with leaving your mark on their walls! Great atmosphere and rock-solid cocktails!
St. Louis Magazine has voted them best breakfast in St. Louis 2 years in a row, so we’ll see if they can defend their title in 2018.
I love everything on their menu, but I’m definitely partial to their Skillets!
They have locations in Valley Park, Chesterfield and Frontenac and open at 7:00 AM.
I have been going to Spencer’s since I was a kid, and even after their big remodel, they still rock! Not many places left that have the traditional diner appeal, but these guys have kept it going strong.
Pancakes are my jam at Spencer’s and the service moves quickly. If lived in Kirkwood,, I would walk to breakfast every day!
You can find them at 223 S. Kirkwood Rd and opens at 6:00. If you’re an early gym bird, this a great place to grab your first cup of coffee for the day!
Brasserie by Niche
This is my go to when I want to relive the New Orleans Beignet experience!
Brunch is solid, and their menu is full of excellent choices. I know this post is focused on breakfast, but these guys have a killer burger too!
You can find them at 4580 Laclede Ave in St Louis City and open for brunch of Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 AM.
Another great St Louis breakfast / brunch place located in the city. Wildflower sits in a prime location in the Central West End.
My go to is the Eggs Benedict, but they also have an Eggs Madison with smoked salmon that is hard to beat!
They open for brunch at 9:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
New Day Gluten Free
For the gluten free breakfast, St. Louis has a solid choice for you. New Day Gluten Free has some of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. I especially love their Fried Egg Sandwich.
Another great thing is they serve breakfast all day! This makes them a great choice for anyone craving a Belgian Waffle at 3:00 PM.
You can find them at 7807 Clayton Rd and they open at 8:00 AM.
Known for their pastrami, they also serve breakfast all day! Their kosher style certainly sets them apart, but I still love it. My favorite is the Protein Plate, but the Latke Plate is a close second.
They are located at 11036 Olive and open at 8:00 AM.
Winslow’s Home is a St Louis breakfast favorite of many. Not many places you can go that have warm scones, you definitely need to check it out.
My favorite is the egg sandwich, maybe it’s the pesto or maybe it’s the Marcoot cheddar, either way it’s fantastic. I also love the seasonal quiche.
You can find them at 7213 Delmar and the open most days at 7:00 AM.
